Hello! I’m Jackie Hart — a graphic and web designer based in Gainesville, Florida, with a passion for visual storytelling and strategic communication.
With a background in advertising and a foundation in UX/UI design, I specialize in creating visually engaging content that connects with audiences across print, web, and social platforms. My work blends thoughtful design, strong messaging, and visual cohesion—whether I'm building websites, crafting digital graphics, or photographing a moment that tells a story.
I earned my degree in advertising from the University of Florida in 2019, where I cultivated a strong research practice and honed my skills in visual communication. I later deepened my UX skill set through the Nielsen Norman Group’s certification in Interaction Design, and expanded my technical range with front-end development training in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I bring a multidisciplinary mindset to every project—balancing design aesthetics, content strategy, and usability.
Alongside my design work, I’ve been a professional photographer for over a decade, capturing visuals for everything from editorial features to web content and social media campaigns. I currently work at the McKnight Brain Institute, where I design and photograph content for UF Health’s communications team and support newsroom strategy to ensure stories resonate with their audiences.
When I’m not designing or shooting, you can find me reading, exploring with my two dogs (Pablo Picasso and Jack), or helping my partner on video productions as a photographer and production assistant.
If you're interested in working together, feel free to reach out. I love collaborating on thoughtful, mission-driven projects—especially ones that make research and innovation more accessible and inspiring.
